Linden is the author of To Have Or To Harm (Warner, 1994), the first book ever written about the stalking of ordinary people. Subsequently, she revised, updated and expanded it into a new work titled Surviving a Stalker: Everything You Need To Know To Keep Yourself Safe, published by Marlowe & Company in 2000.
As a logical follow-up to her book, Linden founded a non-profit organization called Stalking Survivors’ Sanctuary & Solutions whose mission is to educate people about stalking and how to cope with it, and to increase understanding about the problem’s dynamics and possible solutions. This will be accomplished through a series of publications, documentaries and videos directed to professionals, survivors, employees, and the public at large. Linden also intends to develop teen curricula and video games focusing on appropriate vs. inappropriate relationships and communication skills.
Linden conceptualized, created and wrote the content for “The Stalking Victims’ Sanctuary” website, which features numerous information pages about stalking. The site’s moderated discussion board effectively functions as the country’s only national support group for survivors.
Keynote speaker for the 1999 statewide New Mexico stalking and domestic violence conference, Linden has also appeared as an expert on numerous television shows including the Montel William Show, the Sally Jesse Raphael Show, Maury Povich, Inside Edition, E! and Lifetimes’ New Attitudes.
